Position
As a Resort Support team member, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of Alpine Elements properties while delivering a high standard of guest service. This is a varied and hands-on role that supports guests, chalets, and resort teams to ensure every holiday runs seamlessly.
With the Resort Manager as your line manager, you will regularly interact with guests and colleagues, helping to create a welcoming, professional, and friendly atmosphere across the resort. Flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude are essential, as no two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Focus
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded.
- Act as a visible and approachable point of contact for guests throughout their stay.
- Assist guests with arrivals and departures, including luggage assistance and providing welcome information.
- Provide guests with accurate information and respond to questions or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times in line with company uniform and grooming standards.
Resort & Chalet Support
- Assist in Guest Relations Rep duties when required, working alongside other Chalet and Hotel Reps and the Activity Manager to ensure continuity of service.
- Support chalet operations during busy periods, stepping into chalets to assist with hosting, housekeeping, and guest service when required.
- Carry out cleaning duties across communal areas, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms to company standards.
- Complete midweek and assist with hotel and chalet changeovers to ensure properties are guest-ready when required.
- Assist with food service when required, including breakfast service, afternoon tea preparation, and evening meals.
- Conduct or support chalet welcome meetings for guests where necessary.
Team Support & Communication
- Work collaboratively with resort staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with managers and team members regarding priorities and guest needs.
- Assist other resort departments as required, including during peak periods or unforeseen circumstances.
- Act as a point of contact for resort staff on the Resort Manager’s scheduled day off, handling urgent queries and ensuring appropriate escalation when needed. Full support will always be available from the Operations Manager in resort.
- Be on-call on a rota basis to assist with urgent resort support needs.

Requirements
- Relevant transferable hospitality or customer-facing experience. (Desired)
- Experience handling guest queries or resolving customer issues. (Desired)
- Previous housekeeping experience or enthusiasm to learn. (Desired)
- Food Hygiene and Safety Level 2 certification completed before the season (online course links available on request). (Essential)
- Full, clean driving licence held for at least 2 years and aged 21 or over (Essential)
