EA Interns win SBINZ spring snowboarding video competition

POSTED ON 13 Nov 2018 - POSTED BY EA Ski and Snowboard Training

This year, our Queenstown EA crew showed us all how spring skiing is done, winning the SBINZ spring stoke video contest in style! 🙌

This year our New Zealand interns clearly knew how to end the season in style, taking out the SBINZ (Snowboard Instruction New Zealand) Spring Stoke Video Comp...

Tim, from the UK, completed his snowboard internship with EA Ski & Snowboard Training, in New Zealand this season. Tim grew up shredding in the domes and dry slopes of the UK and after his third winter in the mountains and first in New Zealand, he achieved his SBINZ Level 2.

He worked at the local resort, Coronet Peak and here’s what he had to say about his time in Queenstown...“I had the sickest time, everyone I got to ride with was awesome and I got forced out of the park to actually learn to carve, ride piste and off the trail. I've come out a way better snowboarder than I went in and half the tricks in my edit I learned from people whilst I was there, it did involve quite a few hard slams and a fractured collarbone though. Next season I'm back in France for my old job from last season but I'm aiming to be back in NZ next year!”

For their efforts, Tim and two of his fellow interns, Harry Brown and Lucy Hancock, don’t have to worry about their NZSIA membership for 2019. Awesome work guys, we love to see our EA crew shredding all season long!!
