At Roast Jobs, we help people live their dream of working and traveling abroad but behind the scenes, we’re just a small, fun, international team and we love what we do.

We started in 2008 thanks to Nicolas Garraud, and since then, we’ve helped thousands of people find exciting jobs in different destinations. Our mission? Simple. Help you grow, explore the world, and feel safe every step of the way.

Right now, our team is spread between France, Portugal, and the UK. We’re flexible, a bit energetic, and definitely multicultural. We’re a mix of nationalities—French, Dutch, Italian, Brazilian, Colombian… a little bit of everything.… and that’s just the start. What do we all have in common? A love for travel, good food, and helping others step out of their comfort zones.

So, how do we manage to collaborate from so many different locations?

We have our weekly “Monday morning Meeting”—which never happens on Monday (lol)—to talk about future projects, ongoing candidates, share updates, and of course, laugh and chat about life. We’re very serious about our work, but we never forget to enjoy the ride.

Meet Our Team

• Victoria (Porto Director)is our calm and organised star. She’s our strong foundation—always pushing us to do our best and believing in us, even when we forget to believe in ourselves. She truly thinks every problem can be solved with a document (lol)! Supportive, strong, and reliable, she keeps us moving forward no matter what.
  
• Nicolas, the Director of our London office, is fast, efficient, and always straight to the point. He’s the numbers-and-results guy, always helping us stay focused on our goals. He’s also the first to plan a team dinner, suggest an after-hour drink, or organise a spontaneous team trip somewhere exciting. First to leave the meeting… but always the first to invite you out.
  
• Inès, our French consultant, is like sunshine. She’s kind, smart, super organised, and always able to handle any challenge while keeping her calm and beautiful smile. Inès makes people feel comfortable, supported, and ready for anything. She brings light into every conversation.
  
• Julia, our passionate Latina in marketing, is all about energy. She’s loud (in the best way), full of ideas, and always bringing something new to the table, whether it’s a weird international day we’ve never heard of (lol), or a fun activity she wants us all to try. She’s intense, driven, a bit crazy at times (her words, not ours), but she’s the spark that keeps our creativity going. Her jokes are questionable… but her heart is huge.
  
• Daniel, our international consultant, is a calm wave in the middle of our busy days. He speaks several languages, connects easily with everyone, and brings empathy and humour into every conversation. He’s curious, motivated, and always ready for the next adventure. Oh—and he’s also our yoga teacher. We’re proud of that! His travel stories, good vibes, and chill playlists help keep our office balanced and inspired.
  
• Clarice and Santiago, our fantastic support team, are the quiet forces behind everything. They handle interviews, emails, and first contacts like pros—making sure everything runs like clockwork. They’re smart, calm, focused, and have grown so much in their roles. Their presence is peaceful and without them, things just wouldn’t run nearly as smoothly.

Working at Roast Jobs is a mix of laughter, learning, and big dreams.

We love sharing silly jokes, doing quick yoga breaks, and coming up with fun activities. But most of all, we love helping people change their lives by working and traveling abroad.
