InCredible Courchevel 1650
Courchevel 1650 is very much a destination resort and is well renowned accross the world as being on of the leading French resorts.
There's a busy centre with many sports and fashion shops, as well as some excellent restaurants (notably Le Petit Savoyard, L'Eterlou and Montagne) and some great bars – all tend to be rather more friendly and affordable than the nearby Courchevel 1850.
The village has recently undergone some major redevelopment, adding stone and wood cladding to the low-rise buildings in its centre, and creating walkways for pedestrians to shield them from the traffic winding up to 1850.
There are 3 lifts leading up from courchevel 1650, providing convenient access to the challenging terrain, including the 'Ugly Sisters Couloirs', the infamous off-piste terrain, and of course, the other resorts of The Three Valleys. The resort offers skiers of all abilities a wide range of terrain from the fantastic teaching slopes of Granges and Marquis to the spectacular off-piste in Les Avals.
