The main satellites to concentrate on for shops, nightlife and access to the best skiing are Plagne 1800m and Plagne Centre. Plagne Centre (2000m) has fallen foul of the dreaded concrete touch but the huge amounts of snow seem to make it look fresh and pleasant all season round.
1800 has by and large escaped the planners concrete nightmares, with more of a chalet-style, and a warm and friendly atmosphere, with good bars and restaurants and some ski shops. Ski buses run up to Plagne centre until 1 in the morning, this all helps give skiers the perfect mix: lots of apres ski and very pleasant surroundings. With over 450 kms of pisted runs, the Paradiski offers an almost unrivalled amount of excellent, well kept ski slopes that span over 10 villages, and will allow skiers to cover a huge amount of mileage without having to do the same runs over and over again! The terrain is suited to all ages and levels of skier and snowboarder from beginner to advanced.
This is a true all rounder's resort and whether beginner or progressive beginner you will find a huge number of well linked green and blue trails to cut your teeth on. All slopes run close to our chalets so you won't have to walk too far and beginners can easily have access to ski most of the resort without the need for drag lifts! English speaking instructors and good quality snow schools are all part of the local landscape in this very well facilitated resort.
Snowboarders will love the long powder descents from the summit of the Glacier "Plagne Bellecôte".
