Connected to Courcheval and Val Thorans via the mind blowing area that is the Three Valleys, you can shred this playground endlessly and never get bored.

The Meribel valley has some very varied riding with good beginner areas around the Altiport, varied runs on both sides of the valley and more advanced riding off Mont Vallon at the top end of the valley. Offpiste wise the Loze sector offers amazing tree riding for when the snow is falling and when the sun is shining the west side of the valley from Tougnette to Mont Vallon gives world class powder turns. Of special note is the area off the Olympic Lift with unbelievable descents down to La Raffort and Les Allues.
For those wishing to head further afield the Courchevel Valley is known as one of the worlds best resorts with awe inspiring peaks and couloirs down to amazing tree runs like Folieres in La Tania. For those looking for a chilled out session are best to head for the rolling terrain of 1650 or if you want to challenge yourself to some of the most iconic rides of the Alps hiking the peaks and couloirs of Courchevel is a must.
On the other side is the Belleville Valley with the resorts of Saint-Martin, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. The Belleville Valley contains a huge amount of terrain for all Levels with plentiful off-piste from Jersusalem powder fields to Orelle. Of special note is the area of La Masse in Les Menuires which stays quiet even on the busiest weeks and offers awesome riding both on and off piste.
The 3 Valleys has cracking freestyle with a number of parks for different levels. In Meribel there are two main parks with the Moon Park catering for Beginner & Intermediate Riders whereas the iconic DC Park is the winter home of the Backflipping Double Cork Rider. If you wish to travel further afield there are parks in Courchevel, Val Thorens and Les Menuires along with magnificent natural terrain in La Tania, Loze, Petit Alaska, Marioland and Orelle.
If split boarding and hiking are more your scene then the 3 Valleys is the place to be. The fringes of the 3 Valleys offers spectacular tours with Les Avals, the Bourne Glacier and La Masse offering the sort of classic routes that will blow your mind and give you some tales for Apres.
For those looking for apres and nightlife Meribel is one of the best appointed in the French Alps with all that you could wish for. On the apres scene Meribel is known as the best world with the famous Rond Point heading up the crowd with its huge sun terrace right off the piste. The Folie Douce is another classic apres spot at Saulire Mid Station with table dancing and champagne showers being the order of the day. From there many of the pubs and bars in the different parts of Meribel have live bands playing into the evening.
For those looking for a night out there are many bars in the Meribel Valley with great beer and great company with Downtown in Mottaret, LDV in Meribel Village and Jacks Bar and La Taverne in Meribel Centre. All of these offer live bands and DJs with Sunday and Tuesday nights being the busiest. For those wishing to carry on the night the new Club del Mott or the classic O’Sullivan’s pump tunes until 5 in the morning with live bands and DJs playing their part.
For those wishing to enjoy a more chilled out drink Mountain Lodge will have a simple bar for those looking to have a drink before going out and the nearby Hotel Mott is a great option with a hot tub for customers. Further afield Café La Maison is a wonderful find with wonderful wine and aperitifs.
