Badminton is a relatively easy to play and inexpensive sport to run which makes it very popular within volunteer programs. It is serves well at teaching elements of both individual and team play, improving participants reactions, hand-eye coordination and general levels of fitness. There are projects worldwide where you can teach Badminton as a sport at various levels, from engaging kids as a general activity to higher standards of play and coaching.
