Chalet Host

About the role:

Chalet Lena is one of St Anton’s finest private residences, offering a very high level of service.  We are looking for experienced Chalet Hosts who are used to working to high standards with can do attitudes.  The job is crucial to the success of the chalet as it involves the day-to-day front of house operation of the chalet.

Main Responsibilities

·       Set up, serve breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and dinner.

·       Make cocktails and serve beverages

·       All aspects of housekeeping, including the daily cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, wellness and spa areas.

·       To attend to guest requirements as and when requested in a friendly yet professional manner to ensure that they have an excellent holiday

·       Assist with arrival / departure day including helping with guests luggage.

·       Support the Chalet Manager in preparing for change over day.

·       To ensure that the chalet is kept clean and tidy at all times according to company standards.

·       Assist other departments as deemed necessary

Abilities and Skills

·       Hard working

·       Highly professional with excellent interpersonal skills

·       Present a ‘can do’ attitude

·       Ability to work individually and as part of a team

·       Ability to carry out tasks efficiently

·       Awareness of health and safety

Essential Requirements

·       A background and experience in working in luxury hospitality with housekeeping and food service experience

·       Experience in working in a ski resort

·       EU Passport holder with the correct permissions to work in Austria

·       Fluent in English.  German or another European language would be beneficial.
