Entertainment Leader

As an Entertainment Leader at Samiad Summer School, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, responsible for creating memorable experiences for our international students. You will keep the program flowing smoothly — introducing events,engaging students, managing time, and maintaining an energetic, welcoming atmospherethroughout the event. This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire and educatewhile working in a fun and supportive environment. You will also partake in the duties of anactivity leader in the afternoons.​

Role and Responsibilities

• Work under the Activity Coordinator to deliver and plan engaging afternoon activities.​
• Plan and coordinate evening events along with EC.​
• Welcome all students and group leaders to evening events.​
• Introduce and host the evening event with enthusiasm and confidence to create a funlively atmosphere.​
• Keep the event on time by coordinating with the EC.​
• Engage the audience with enthusiasm and cultural sensitivity.​
• Make important announcements (e.g., logistics, schedule changes).​
• Bring upbeat entertainment to all events.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

• DBS checks will be carried out. 
• Experience working with groups of children.  
• Strong leadership and organizational skills. 
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for working with young people. 
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and multicultural environment. 
•  A positive attitude and excellent communication skills. 
•  First Aid/CPR certification (preferred, but not required).

Hours of work  

Entertainment leaders are scheduled for 18 sessions per week, including preparation time and three meal times daily. Each day is divided into three sessions — morning, afternoon, and evening. Pay starts at (£400) per week, inclusive of food and accommodation

All Activity Leaders will receive one full day off, and an evening off per week.
