Les Deux Alpes - Skibound Resort and Airport Supervisor – Conversational or fully fluent in French and English

This opportunity is perfect for someone who has already a great understanding of tour operation and a high level of organisation.

What will I be doing as a Skibound Resort / Airport Supervisor

This role effectively sees you as the fountain of knowledge for everything ski and activities within the Resort ensuring everything runs smoothly for our guests. You will oversee all the operations within the resort and the two resort based permanent staff and occasional high season staff, taking responsibility for the success of the delivery of the customer experience throughout their week, including liaising with accommodation providers, apres-ski providers, ski school and lift pass providers as examples.

Not only will you ensure guests have everything they need, but also, for one day of the week, you will also be the Skibound representative at one of our airport Hubs for guest arrivals & departures ensuring clients have a smooth travel experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for passengers, assisting them with various tasks, such as:

Documentation Handling: Ensuring passengers’ travel documents are valid, issuing boarding passes, and directing them to their gates

Special Requests: Handling seat assignments, upgrades, and assisting passengers with injuries, disabilities or young children

Baggage Assistance: Assisting with lost or damaged luggage claims

Information Services: Providing passengers with airport information (gate locations, restrooms, restaurants, etc.)

Complaint Resolution: Addressing passenger complaints or escalating to Ops Centre when necessary

Coordination: Communicating with coach personnel and other airport staff to ensure a smooth transition between groups arriving / departing

Delays: Assisting in co-ordination and re-organisation in the event of delays or diverts.

When In Resort

As the welcoming and charismatic face of Skibound, you will create a positive, organised, and memorable experience for every guest throughout their holiday. Through both your own interactions and the leadership of your team, you will ensure all guest communication is clear, professional, and delivered with enthusiasm from arrival through to departure.

Working alongside your team, you will be the resort's expert on all aspects of the ski operation. You will oversee the management and fitting of ski equipment, coordinate lift pass orders, confirm ski school arrangements, and organise and lead a varied programme of après-ski activities. Using your experience, training, and in-depth resort knowledge, you will respond confidently to guest enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through excellent service and additional sales.

This role requires exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and strong leadership. You will manage the smooth running of the ski operation by overseeing cash handling, stock and financial reconciliations, accident reporting, staff hours, health and safety compliance, and all associated administration. Working closely with Hotel Managers, ski schools, transport providers, the Area Manager, and the UK office, you will ensure accurate communication of guest numbers and operational information while maintaining full compliance with company policies.

Prior to each group's arrival, you will review booking information, establish pre-arrival communication, and ensure all arrangements—including lift passes, ski hire, ski school, and après-ski activities—are fully confirmed. Through your team, you will deliver these services seamlessly throughout each stay, responding professionally to guest requests and ensuring every group enjoys an outstanding holiday experience. You will motivate, support, and inspire your team to maintain consistently high standards, creating a positive working environment and exceptional customer service.

This is a highly visible, guest-facing role. You will lead from the front, spending time with guests and your team across the resort while hosting evening entertainment and social events such as quizzes, discos, crêpe evenings, talent shows, and other après-ski activities. We are looking for a positive, proactive, and adaptable individual who shares our commitment to teamwork and outstanding customer service. While this job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the role, additional duties within the scope of the position may be required to support the operation and ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved.
