RESORT MANAGER - MERIBEL

As our Resort Manager, you’ll be at the heart of everything: leading staff, ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting guests, and maintaining our famously high standards. It’s a hands-on role with real responsibility — but also plenty of fun, mountains, and team spirit along the way.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll be the go-to person for both our guests and our team across our catered and self-catered properties. Your job is to make sure everything — and everyone — is running smoothly, from chalet service to ski passes, drivers to dishwashers.
Your responsibilities will include (but are definitely not limited to):
- Overseeing the full day-to-day operations of F&P in Méribel
- Supporting and managing a team of chefs, hosts, drivers, and freelancers across multiple chalets
- Being the first port of call for guests and staff, handling feedback and emergencies with confidence
- Creating the staff and driver rotas, and coordinating the driver manifest weekly
- Taking full ownership of weekly chalet and resort budgets (food, drink, cleaning, supplies… the lot)
- Planning ahead: ordering baby kits, hampers, special surprises, raclette kits and more before guest arrivals
- Conducting regular chalet visits and at least two full cleaning checks a week
- Checking in with lead guests a minimum of 3 times per week, plus being available for concierge needs
- Liaising with all suppliers – cleaners, linen, ski hire, taxis, transfers – to keep service running like clockwork
- Ensuring guest chalets are set up to perfection: from layout and baby cots to drinks, napkins and top-up supplies
- Supporting the chefs and hosts with weekly handovers and helping run through how each chalet works
- Managing freelancer availability and assisting with scheduling
- Taking ownership of all maintenance issues – from reporting to resolution
- Overseeing the F&P driver service, including stepping in if needed
- Creating a positive and professional working environment — with weekly team meetings and fun outings
- Hosting team meetings, training sessions, and catch-ups to keep morale and performance high
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A true leader who’s confident managing people, solving problems, and juggling a hundred moving parts
- At least two full ski seasons under your belt (and ideally some experience in a leadership role)
- Age 23+ (for vehicle insurance purposes), with a full driving licence (bonus for D1/ROSPA)
- Strong admin and organisational skills — spreadsheets and stock counts don’t scare you
- Excellent people skills, with a warm, professional and calm approach to guests and staff alike
- Conversational French to handle local suppliers and service providers
- A deep love for the mountains and a desire to make every guest’s holiday the best it can be
