🚨 LAST-MINUTE OPPORTUNITY — SENIOR CHALET HOST in La Plagne 1800

Ready to step up in your chalet career?

Have you completed at least one full winter season as a Chalet Host and are ready for your first real taste of leadership?

This is your opportunity to join Ski Famille as a Senior Chalet Host,  combining hands-on chalet hosting with team leadership, stock management and resort operations.

You’ll work closely with the Chalet Manager and Resort Manager, helping to maintain exceptional standards across the resort while supporting and motivating the wider team. It’s a varied, hands-on role for someone energetic, organised and ready to take on more responsibility.

🎿 What you’ll be doing

Alongside your full Chalet Host duties, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional, family-focused guest service and help create a seamless holiday experience.
  • Prepare high-quality meals, cakes and canapés, while managing dietary requirements.
  • Maintain outstanding standards of cleanliness, housekeeping and presentation.
  • Take responsibility for linen and cleaning stock, helping to minimise waste and control costs.
  • Support, motivate and coach the chalet team, providing feedback and hands-on training where needed.
  • Help deliver start-of-season training and support team development throughout the winter.
  • Carry out weekly chalet checks and ensure standards are consistently maintained.
  • Coordinate resort-wide linen distribution and collection.
  • Work closely with Resort Childcare, Resort Assistants, management, suppliers and Head Office to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Be a positive and professional ambassador for Ski Famille and Ski Vertigo.

⭐ We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has completed at least one full winter season in chalet or seasonal hospitality.
  • Has experience working with and ideally supporting or managing a young team.
  • Has strong hospitality standards and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Enjoys cooking and catering and holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Understands good stock management and HACCP procedures.
  • Is highly organised, proactive and able to solve problems under pressure.
  • Is energetic, flexible, approachable and confident working as part of a team.
  • Has a full clean driving licence held for at least two years.
  • Has basic French - a real advantage!
  • Has an interest in snow sports.
  • Is available for the full season, from mid-November to the end of April.
  • Can provide at least two professional references.

This is more than another season as a Chalet Host.

It’s a chance to step up, take on responsibility and build the experience you need for your next move into management.

If you’re ready for the challenge, apply now - this is a last-minute opportunity and we’re looking to fill the position quickly.
