Qualified Nanny Jobs

Usual Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age (sometimes older - make sure you check to avoid disapointment)
- CACHE/NVQ/NNEB or equivalent childcare qualification
- DBS Disclosure Check (You can usually apply for this through the employer)
Successful Crèche and nursery staff will have an excellent approach to childcare, and will also have the ability to deal confidently with the parents and the rest of the resort or centre staff. Common attributes of successful applicants include an enthusiastic approach to childcare, a highly professional attitude and the ability to add value to a team and provide assistance to managers who may not be childcare professionals.
Crèche and nursery staff will be expected to provide a stimulating programme of activities for babies (4 months is normally the minimum age but may be less for private nanny services) and toddlers. You will normally get a dedicated room or chalet but will also be expected to take the children on outdoor activities.
An attractive employment package is usually on offer (although wages are never great but this unfortunately is an industry trait). Typically the package will include accommodation, sometimes meals, Specialist Insurance, Uniform, travel to and from resort. And for ski seasons - Ski Pass and Ski hire.

Powder Byrne Summer
We leave the hotel staffing to the local professionals, but recruit staff to provide those little extras that make the difference to the Powder Byrne experience: private airport transfers, exclusive childcare facilities, in-resort drivers and an extremely high level of personal service. Powder Byrne annually recruits staff for winter and summer jobs, if you are someone who is capable of working long hours and gets satisfaction from providing a high level of service then you may be suited to joining our highly motivated resort teams. Competition is fierce for all our full season summer jobs, with a very high standard of applicants, as well as a large number of staff returning for another season, a testament to working for a company that values its staff. Our Summer 2022 Season will run from early July to mid-August in the resort of Elounda in Crete. We will be holding interviews for summer roles throughout May. Please note we are currently only recruiting for a Creche Manager position.
