Private nanny - Meribel, France

Meribel and Courchevel nanny Services are searching for mature, experienced, confident and organised child carers to join our team for this coming winter season, covering bookings in the Meribel and Courchevel valleys December 2024 - April 2025

As an agency we pride ourselves on team work, working together to make your season not only the most lucrative season but also the most fun, finding a balance of work and play is so important when coming out to do a ski season and working as a freelance nanny really offers you the opportunity to work hard during busy periods and work more part time during low periods giving you a great income but also time to enjoy resort and get out and enjoy the mountain. As our nannies are self employed we can tailor the season to your needs and expectations.

Roles we have on offer are:

Full time  Full season -  14 - 18 weeks 36 - 48+ hours per week (income from 972€ - 1,440€ per week)

Flexi Full season 14 - 18 weeks mixture of part time and full time work 24 - 48+ hours per week (income 648€ - 1,440€ per week)

Full time peak weeks - 6 - 8 weeks 36 - 48+ hours per week (income from 720€ - 1,440€)

Part time - Full season 14 - 18 weeks 24 - 36 hours per week (648€ - 1,080€)

Part time peak week - 6 - 8 weeks 24 - 30 hours per week (720€ - 900€)

We believe in the Ethos "Happy Nannies, Happy Families" and working for an agency run by a nanny really gives us the edge when it comes to understanding the role.

All nannies must have an EU passport or work Visa for France (we are unable to help with visa applications) and speak fluent English, due to a large amount of our clients being English (other languages are also a plus, especially French of course)

Job Role:

To meet new families each week and not just care for the children but provide a magical fun-filled holiday so the parents can ski guilt free with the knowledge that their children are in the best hands possible and having a wonderful time. You will be working with children from babies up to 12 years old, providing fun, stimulating activities, following routines as discussed with parents, getting the children ready for ski school, ski school drop off and collection, preparing healthy lunches and ensuring the children have as much fun on their holiday as possible; Doing arts and crafts (arts and crafts are provided for you) sensory activities, baking, sledging, snowman building, bowling and more!

This is an amazing varied role! There aren't many jobs where snowman building and sledding are daily activities! 

Job requirements:

• 3 years experience working with children, teacher, nanny, aupair, camp rep etc
• high energy and a love for working with children
• Criminal record check
• first aid certified (this is also retaken during training)
• checkable references
• EU PASSPORT OR WORKING HOLIDAY VISA
• A love for mountains and being outdoors
• Great work ethic
• A high level of English spoken and written
• organisation skills to manage personal diary and bookings
• To be registered or willing to register as self employed/Auto entrepreneur
