About Snow Cooks
Snow Cooks are not only passionate about cooking but also offering the opportunity to experience this wonderful life of working a ski season, whether it be just for one year or the next 25! We, ourselves started out as a chalet company in the 90's - the company continues but we decided to move on and now we use our years of experience to pass on the knowledge so a new generation can enjoy what we have for so long.
During the week you will learn all you need, to successfully cook and host in a chalet and confidently go on to apply for employment in this field. We are there to assist you, including informing you of latest job vacancies and inviting local companies to come by to meet you.
Although you will work hard during the course, there will be time off to enjoy the beautiful region and all it has to offer from hiking, horse riding to more adrenaline sports. such as white water rafting, electric biking or mountain biking. If you prefer to just take a stroll around the village or sit on the balcony, it is entirely up to you!
The courses are held in a lovely traditional stone chalet in a mountain village resort at the edge of the National Park easily accessible to the activities on offer.
With comprehensive tutiion during a full packed week in a beautiful location, this will give you the taste of life during a season!
The course is open to all ages and nationalities. It is held in English as that is generally the clientele you will be cooking for - or at least guests who speak English. Just bring a smile and enthusiasm to learn to cook!
