Site Management Jobs
Campsites, holiday parks and operators approach the management of their operation differently. In the UK and Ireland you will quite often find that the warden couple on smaller sites will manage the whole thing, on larger sites you might have a warden in charge of other wardens, and on very large sites the structure is set top more like a hotel with general and departmental managers. In the rest of Europe you will also find these set ups but with the addition of the tour operator model where an operator will lease a set of pitches on a site/sites and fill them with their own accommodation and staff with their own reps.
In all cases you will find Senior couriers, site managers, wardens in charge or jobs along those lines will run a campsite, Area managers run a group of campsites and then you get into specialist roles such as maintenance managers, activity managers, childrens activity managers etc. Many of the people who gain experience via this route end up working in head offices and at senior management levels.
