As Resort Manager, you’re the senior representative of Family Ski Company in resort. You’ll lead and support your team to deliver excellent guest experiences while ensuring our high standards are maintained across all chalet, childcare, and resort services.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication, calm decision-making, and the ability to adapt quickly. You don’t need to know everything on day one – what matters most is your motivation to learn, openness to feedback, and commitment to continual improvement.
You’ll receive full training and ongoing support from our experienced French Operations Team throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day resort operations, ensuring all departments run smoothly
- Manage, support and motivate your team to maintain a positive working environment
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
- Liaise with the Operations Manager and act as the link between resort and the UK sales office
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements where needed
- Handle resort paperwork and accounts, ensuring accuracy with the Operations Administrator
- Respond calmly and effectively to any challenges or unexpected situations

Essential Attributes
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role
- Background in hospitality with a strong focus on customer service
- Calm under pressure and comfortable making decisions
- Friendly, approachable, and a natural communicator
- Organised, adaptable, and proactive
- A team player who builds positive resort culture
- Fluent English (French language skills a bonus)
- Keen to learn, improve, and develop professionally
Requirements
- Full EU or UK manual driving licence
- Recent DBS or equivalent background check (we can assist)
Training & Support
You’ll arrive in resort for full pre-season training, including Level 2 Food Hygiene and First Aid. Our French Operations Team are on hand throughout the season to support with logistics, staff development and problem-solving.
