Ski Chalet Cookery Courses
The aim of ski chalet cookery courses is to provide you with the skills to cook in a chalet for the season. The courses are aimed at amateurs who are keen and want to get a head start before going off to run a chalet for the season. The best courses will train you in realistic conditions (its no good learning in a huge well equipped kitchen when most chalet kitchens are not like that). There are lots of training providers and this is a highly recommended course of action if you want to work in a ski chalet during your gap year.

We caught up with Mikey Hazzard for a few laps at Coronet Peak in New Zealand to find out how his season with EA went. Mikey was one of our snowboard interns in Queenstown on an EA snowboard instructor course. After passing his level 1 he spent the season working at Coronet Peak with NZski. He’s now heading off to Japan to do a ski season with Canyons Snowsports school and we’re hoping to see him back in Queenstown after that!
