Fancy spending the summer in a ski resort!?
Ski Academy Switzerland’s summer programmes have been designed for potential ski instructors to train and qualify with Ski Academy Switzerland (SAS) and then to use that qualification to work, as a ski instructor for the winter 2008/9 ski season, in their partnered Ski Schools across the USA and Europe. They have 4 to 8 week courses available and these will based in the ski resort of Saas-Fee. Saas-Fee has one of the most expansive and varied Glacier in Europe and offers good skiing throughout the year with a good variety of shops, restaurants and bars.
Yolande has just returned from working at Lake Greeley Camp in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. It is a large, private, traditional summer camp and Yolande was a camp counsellor and horseback-riding instructor.

A major difference between repping and working as airline cabin crew is that airlines tend to offer better prospects for secondments and career development. Airlines have a far larger infrastructure than tour operators and therefore a greater variety of careers and roles. The work is also highly transferable and you could join in on job swapping programmes to travel even further whilst still building experience and a career.
